ArtXcapes Cultural Art Workshops, based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is for those creative and adventurous individuals who want something more out of their vacation than just shopping, site-seeing or eating constantly. We offer you a creative, inspiring and adventurous fun-filled vacation that will awaken that passion and bring enthusiasm back into your life!
We combine top-of-the-line cultural art workshops with adventure activities and field trips in some of the most unique and exotic countries around the world. As well as a plethora of art workshops and classes in Santa Fe and around the USA, we also conduct international workshops in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and Costa Rica and Nicaragua in Central America.
Our clients range from those who have never touched a paint brush or art medium but have always wanted to "try their hand at being creative," to the experienced artist who is looking for new material and inspiration. Our workshops offer a wide variety of different classes, ranging from painting in oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolours, egg tempera, sumi-e oriental watercolours, intuitive painting, and mixed media to the very traditional New Mexico cultural art of tinning, retablo making, pottery, carving bultos and weaving. We also have classes in sketching, figure study, portraiture, still life, landscape, plein air, stained glass, mosaics, jewelry and textile design. We also offer 6-week classes for adults and children. We pride ourselves in offering our clients the best possible art and cultural experience in a fun and relaxed atmosphere where there are only "happy mistakes."
Our workshops run anywhere from a half day of art to 10 days of art and culture with everything in between. We offer private one-on-one instruction as well as group instruction, and can also custom design a workshop for your group. We also facilitate fun and exciting cultural art experiences in Santa Fe to improve teamwork in the business place.
We have some of the best instructors in the world for you to study with, they come from all over the globe to share their knowledge and techniques with you and coax out the creative genius that lies within us all. They are excellent artists and are passionate and enthusiastic about teaching and sharing their profound knowledge with their students, and are a joy to be around.
